Natasha Bowcott

Head of Commercial Department

Natasha is a specialist commercial property solicitor, whose experience spans many years. Natasha advises within a number of sectors on a broad range of commercial property aspects.

Her clients include landowners and developers in complex development work, those buying or selling commercial properties (including pubs, industrial units, shops, HMOs and hotels) and clients with commercial property portfolios such as landlords who own shops, industrial estates or council property. In addition, Natasha acts for tenants on day-to-day commercial lease work such as lease assignments, grants, and renewals.

Natasha is respected within the business community for having a strategic approach whilst providing down-to-earth and commercially pragmatic advice.

Prior to joining Slade Legal, Natasha was a senior associate in a regional law firm within the commercial property team having moved there with the commercial team from a law firm in Wallingford.

Before that, Natasha practised commercial property law in the Middle East advising developers and landowners alike in high value commercial property transactions involving multi-use buildings.  Before moving to Dubai, Natasha qualified and worked in the commercial property team of a law firm in Bristol following a successful career in marketing with two blue-chip companies.

You can safely say Natasha enjoys a challenge.  She likes getting deals completed (from the most challenging down to the most straightforward ones) as efficiently and smoothly as possible.  Her strong attention to detail and ability to plan, prioritise, deliver, and evaluate ensures that her clients varied, and extensive legal needs are met.

Outside of work, Natasha enjoys running (having completed the Oxford Half Marathon (in a fairly respectable time!) and cycling in the Oxfordshire countryside, fitting this around two very active children.  She also enjoys designing and making children’s clothes as well as playing the piano, which mostly involves teaching her children these days. Her favourite hobby is snowboarding although this has had to take a back seat lately.
